I forgot my Master Password. What can I do?
Your Master Password contains the key that unlocks your data. It is only accessible by you and is never shared with or stored by RoboForm. As a result, it is extremely important that you do not forget your Master Password as it cannot be recovered. If forgotten, your data cannot be accessed (even by us) and you will have to reset your Master Password and start from scratch.
Resetting your Master Password does not affect any active account status or subscription but it will delete all saved data in your RoboForm account.
Prior to resetting your Master Password, please consult the recovery scenarios listed below.
Potential recovery scenarios
Have you enabled Touch ID or PIN on the RoboForm mobile app?
If so, you can gain access to your data as long as RoboForm is running in the background. NOTE: the Master Password will always be requested upon app launch.
If so, you can ask them to initiate emergency access.
If so, you can export your data to a CSV before you reset your Master Password.
Note that Export to CSV works for Logins, Bookmarks, and Safenotes; but not for Identities.
Once exported, follow the reset instructions listed below.
Have you enabled fingerprint authentication or Touch ID on Windows/Mac?

How to reset your Master Password

If you know the email address associated with your RoboForm account, enter your email address here.
Once submitted, we will send an account reset link to the email address provided. Again, **Resetting your Master Password does not affect any active account status or subscription but it will delete all saved data in your RoboForm account. **
